If you’ve left your house recently, you know that it looks like the apocalypse. The streets are empty, those you do see are in masks and everyone is avoiding one another. How do you celebrate your wedding milestone in the midst of a pandemic? And further, what will become of the wedding and event industry when this is all over?
I had the opportunity to speak with Andrea Shea, WBUR Arts Reporter, about the state of this industry and how couples are moving forward in the midst of so many challenges.
I am grateful to have had Myriam Michels from M&M Elite Events, Krissy Price from Boston Pollen Florals and Sarah Narcus of Olio Event Venue along side me for this interview. These women are true leaders in this industry and I am honored to be navigating these unsettling waters with them.
