Jake and Ryan met three years ago on Tinder. True to form, Jake arrived late for their first date, but their connection was almost immediate.
Ryan is a marketing and branding guru who originally hails from England. Jake sells luxury real estate in NYC. Together they spend their days navigating the streets of NYC with their beloved pup, "Lincoln." Jake's mother, Jane, (a natural designer!) was instrumental to the boys in creating a day that was reflective of them in every way while also celebrating their unique backgrounds. She took all of their likes and preferences into consideration for the design for the day and then went full-steam-ahead in selecting the perfect colors, design, style (and surprises!) to celebrate the boys and their beloved friends and family at Castle Hill on a warm Autumn day in Newport, Rhode Island. Guests celebrated their grooms recessional with both American Flags and Union Jack flags in honor of their backgrounds. StoneBlossom Florals created stunning all-green floral installations throughout the ceremony and reception tent that were both stylistic and masculine in design. Copper and greenery elements embodied an organic, warm and textured design pallet for the day. Jane even had a custom pup statue created and tucked into the bottom layer of the gorgeous wedding cake as a surprise for the boys. And Jake's Aunt Sally presided over them as their officiant.
