Marissa, originally from Toronto, and Chris, originally from Pittsburgh, were so incredibly fun to plan with. Not one meeting went by without loads of laughter and lightheartedness.
Marissa hails from Berklee School of Music here in Boston where she dedicates her time to fundraising, so naturally music was the most important element of the day. Sugarbabies were the perfect band (all Berklee grads!) to kick this dance party up to an 11. My favorite design elements of the day came from Krissy Price of Pollen Floral Design. With just a few days notice, she created the most sophisticated and modern floral decor. No detail was overlooked in this all-green ultra-modern and artistic vision. Special thanks to Gourmet Caterers and to the team at Artists for Humanity whom I have loved since my earliest days in planning. Big huge thanks to Caitlin at Wouldn't It Be Lovely Stationary Design for entertaining all of our wild ideas and requests for super cool stationary for the day (I.e. check out that badass table assignment board mounted on the gold back bar from Peak Event Rentals.) I would be remiss in not sending all of my love and thanks to Kadeema Rentals for not one but two stunning lounges for the day, and of course all of the beautiful hair and makeup styling is from the wonderful teams at Zena Rose and Melinda Brandt Hair. The biggest shout-out goes to Ally Schmaling. All stunning photo credit goes directly to her.
I am so honored to have worked with this incredible team and to have such brilliant, wonderful and loving clients. Is this really a job or am I just living my best life?
