The Sweetest Baby Shower

I had the opportunity to really stretch my imagination and abilities in taking on a No-Contact Baby Shower yesterday and I am so deeply in love with how this entire event came out.

Mother- and Father-To-Be (Julianne and Paul) had no idea what this event would entail (the celebration was planned entirely by Grandmother-To-Be, Pamela.) How does one plan a Baby Shower (an event that truly cannot be postponed) with no guests in attendance? We live streamed the event using state-of-the-art cameras and high-tech microphones for a perfect visual experience, all hosted effortlessly by the amazing team at StopGoLove Videography.

100 guests remotely interacted with Mom- and Dad-to-Be via our online comment board and I live moderated the event from behind the safety of a mask from a socially-distant 6’ away.

We brought in a gorgeous lounge from Kadeema Rentals to create a cozy and chic sitting area for Julianne and Paul. A delicious spread of lobster rolls (Mama’s favorite) and Italian sandwiches (Dad’s favorite) plus cookies and basil lemonade were delivered by La Bonne Maison Catering. Hours upon hours of intricate floral design was executed by the amazing Krissy Price of Boston Pollen (who also hand-painted the stunning backdrop seen in the photos below) and the beautiful Tiffany-inspired invitations were designed by Inviting Company. Last but not least, All The Little Stories Photography captured every detail of the day.

The day was perfect, cozy, comfortable and SAFE, top to bottom. Guests had the best time with our fun trivia games and Julianne and Paul got to enjoy an experience like none-other. While this may not have been the experience we all originally envisioned, it turned out to be an amazing plan overall.

Covid can go straight to hell. We’ll continue to find a ways to celebrate milestones (safely) until this pandemic is over.
