I shared my pro tips with Elite Daily regarding how to plan a church wedding. While the concept seems fairly straight-forward, there are a number of rules and procedures to consider that apply not only to you, but to your photographer, musicians and bridal party.
Here are just a few things to consider when planning your own church wedding:
Some churches will require proof of Baptism for both you and your betrothed. Do you have this document available?
In the Catholic Church, you will need to begin pre-cana classes 6-8 months before your ceremony. It’s important to plan accordingly.
Your photographer may have a list of rules to abide by in terms of where they can stand to shoot, what kind of flash they can use, whether a second-shooter will be allowed to photograph, etc. Ask your church what their photography policies are well in advance of your big day.
