Given the current pandemic, if you have not already purchased cancellation/postponement insurance, it is not possible to do so for current 2020 weddings. That being said, you should still seek wedding insurance to cover events like illness, inclement weather, and in some cases, calling the wedding off because of personal reasons. You can extend coverage beyond the wedding day and add protection for your rehearsal and even your honeymoon.
Given the affordable cost of wedding insurance ($75-$750 depending on the level of coverage) and given the average cost of a wedding, this is a no-brainer.
